Spine Digital Watch Face

Spine splits the time across a bright diagonal line. Large white italic hours sit above it on the left, the minutes sit below it on the right in your theme color, and a dark textured frame holds everything else: the date, the weather, your heart rate, your steps, the battery and two segmented tracks around the rim.

Weather needs one permission, once. Wear OS does not grant watch faces location access by default, so until you allow it the weather complication shows SET instead of a temperature: Settings > Security and privacy > Permission manager > Location > Watch faces > Allow while using the app. Everything else on the face - time, date, steps, heart rate and battery - works the moment you install it.

FOUR COMPLICATIONS

- Weather, upper right. Out of the box it shows the temperature from your watch's own weather service, and you can point it at another data source instead
- Heart rate, on the right edge. Arrives showing your heart rate
- Steps, along the bottom. Arrives showing your step count
- App shortcut, left of the hours. Tap the plus once and choose an app; after that, one tap opens it

The three data complications show a short text value with its source's icon - a temperature, a count, a time. They draw text, not progress arcs.

WHAT ELSE IS ON THE DIAL

- Large digital time in 24-hour or 12-hour format, with AM or PM under the hour in 12-hour mode
- Weekday and date along the top
- Battery percentage, lower left
- Two rim tracks: the upper one fills with your battery, the lower one fills as your steps climb toward 10,000. The step track always follows your watch's own step count, even if you give the steps complication a different job

YOUR CHOICES IN CUSTOMIZE

- Color theme: Cyan, Orange, Lime, Red or Violet. The minutes, the diagonal line, the weekday and both rim tracks change together
- Time format: 24-hour or 12-hour

ALWAYS-ON

The dimmed screen drops the frame, the colors and the complications. It keeps the time, the date and AM/PM, in soft gray on pure black.

GOOD TO KNOW

Needs Wear OS 5 or later. The dial and the Customize labels are in English. There is no companion phone app, no account, no ads and no subscription.

SETTING IT UP

Buy it on your phone, then open the Play Store on your watch, where it is waiting in your library. Press and hold your current face, swipe to Spine and tap it. Press and hold again and tap Customize to choose the color, the time format and the complications.
