Good for checking on things, nothing else. video ads EVERY. SINGLE. HIGHLIGHT. Even when you have ESPN+. the video player is also trash, and not at all optimized. Infinite buffer anytime you try and choose a point in a video to go to, so make sure you literally never grt busy or called away from your phone mid watch. Scores are usually accurate to 30 or so seconds of an update in game, so good way to be the first to know, even before anyone outside the venue.

I pay for ESPN+. This ESPN app doesn't ever open to make my subscription worth it. I can sit and watch it "load" for 5 minutes, and nothing will actually happen. I know this has nothing to do with my phone or network because other apps, including Disney+ and Hulu, load and work just fine. Update: (1/10/25) This app is getting worse and worse. Most of the time, it crashes immediately on the first launch. Now, when it does launch, there is nothing but a blank gray screen.

won't work on smart TVs, barely works on phones. constantly crashes and feeezes my entire android tv. rarely loads the first time on my phone, either; i get a blank white screen. clear caches, uninstall, reinstall sometimes those help , sometimes it'll crash 10 mins later.for the cost, the sports available are limited, likely because leagues go elsewhere due to this junk technology. if my team weren't in the FA Cup, I'd have already cancelled.
