Subway Surfers

I enjoyed this game and I had so much progress. something happened after this update and now all my progress has disappeared. I tried deleting and reinstalling it and nothing still. it's well and able connecting to my okay games account but the progress isn't loading and their is no way I'm starting all over again. If it doesn't get solved this will be where I part with Subway surfers.

Amazing graphics and tons of weird extra features. Constant ads to spend real money. The graphics are impressive but the options are confusing. Finally tired of ads for no gain when I paid not to have them. Items to collect placed so jumping to collect them means crashing into a train. I've tried to like this game but it's just too frustrating and loaded with incomprehensible extras of uncertain benefit. Their new City one is even worse! Uninstalling.

I don't know when this happened, but the game now has intrusive ads on death, even fullscreen ones, whether you wish to respawn or not. If the corporate slopification wasn't underway before, it definitely is now, with its ever-expanding monetisation. Edit (RE): Yes, the game is free, but it has been for 14 years. There is extensive monetisation already. The game cannot be so unprofitable as to warrant such extreme measures, squeezing players for every last cent. It has 1 billion downloads.
