Total dumster fire of an app. I get why non-licence fee users overseas might not get everything uk residents are able to access but really? This app is absolutely horrendous. I just want to continue following and listening to a bunch of podcasts I enjoy and it's now an afterthought via a tiny section at the absolute bottom of the audio section. No way to cue up podcasts, 'latest' just seems to mean some randomly arranged 8 podcasts that don't update once you've listened to them, total hot mess.

For audio it has a few significant glitches. unlike other podcast apps I've used if you stop it for a little while you can't simply start playing again, have to close whatever was playing and then re-open it. secondly if I play through headphones and they lose connection or cut out, rather than pausing the podcast (as all other audio players do)it plays it through the speaker. Lastly it would be nice to have a playnext list. Update 08/26: audio barely works now, freezes every 5 minutes, unusable

The BBC app used to be really great, but recently I’ve noticed ads playing more frequently. It doesn’t happen every time, but when I switch to a different podcast or audio clip, an ad sometimes plays again—even if I just heard one a minute ago. This is frustrating and makes listening less enjoyable. I hope the ad frequency can be capped.
