• Advance to the next hour at half past: "onze heures moins le quart" (quarter to eleven)
• Noon and midnight: "midi et demi" (half past noon), "minus cinq" (five to midnight)
• Singular and plural: "une heure cinq" (five past one), "deux heures dix" (ten past two)
• Agreement of "demie" (half past one): "dix heures et demie" (thirty past ten), but "midi et demi" (half past noon)
