About this game

You adopt a young Lebensborn child in Norway after WW2, but parenting will be hard as your child grows up in a hostile and hateful environment.
Can you help Klaus/Karin cope with the heavy inheritance of the German occupation, so they will find their place in a country that is celebrating its freedom?

Polygon: "My Child Lebensborn tells a disturbing tale about innocents in the aftermath of WW2”
LevelUp: “The strongest game experience that I have ever had.”

My Child Lebensborn is a BAFTA-winning parenting simulation with original gameplay and a heartbreaking story. It has challenged millions of players to experience how hard it is to keep a child safe when they are seen as symbols of a hated enemy.

See a different side of the war, inspired by the true stories of the Lebensborn children. Discover how hatred of our enemies continues to create victims, even after victory. Discover their past and support them in the present. You must balance your time and resources to provide for your child. You will find answers to the hard questions; about their history, the hatred, bullying and the passing of blame.

Feed, clothe, teach, and comfort your child as you navigate the prejudices of a hostile community. Every decision shapes who they become.

You can make a difference.

Key Features:
- Adopt a boy or girl, and support them through a defining year of their life.
- Influence the child’s feelings, personality and worldview through your choices.
- Earn money as you work, then cook, craft, forage and play.
- Use your time and meagre resources wisely.
- Look for the effects of your choices in your child’s expressions and body language.
- Explore a gripping storyline based upon true events.

Parts of the game's proceeds are donated to help protect Children Born of War (children born of enemy soldiers and local women).

This game presents difficult and heavy topics, not suitable for young children.

If you loved caring for Karin or Klaus in this game, you can continue with them in the sequel "My Child New Beginnings".

I have never bought a game except for this one because I remember playing the lite version and it was really a very different game. The game is mainly about the story line with elements of taking care of your kid but there is something mysterious about the story and something fun, even though it is simple, about the game play of taking care of the kid. Not for the faint of heart

It's a relatively short game, though for Its price that seemed pretty fair. No ads. I may or may not have cried the entire time I was playing. It had a pretty okay storyline and had a fair reward-cost price system. Good game

I like the game's dialogue, storyline and attention to detail! The fact that raising a child requires not only positive feedback, but even negative feedback from the child makes this game more interactive. I honestly wish there's more to it though because i want to the next sequel for this game and i don't mind paying for it! Also almost forgot, when i start a new game with existing progress. The game suddenly doesn't allow me to interact with any time consuming action such as eating and shower.
