Easy to find what you're interested in but makes reading it too difficult. no dark mode, text size is too small and it jumps to the beginning every time. Premium function is ridiculously overpriced.

The support "team" is just AI bots sending generic emails, but with a delay, in order to appear more human-like. The issue I had was concerning a fraudulently created account with my personal information and a crazy expensive subscription made without my consent and using stolen debit card information. I have since resolved the issue with my bank, who did an investigation and agreed that it was fraud. I downloaded the app just to be able to leave this review.

I enjoyed it very much a few years ago, then got busy with sundry things and could find time to use Academia app. Quite a few of my books and articles are uploaded on Academia, associated with academics.
