It would be far better if it didn't have to reload after every race because of a server disconnect, and the same happens when trying to open purple chests - It just restarts the app and your chest is gone, no reward received. The racing itself is good, though because they've made it look shinier it does take longer to start a race - Just to be able to tap to skip the start animation where the camera (slowly!) pans around would be a huge improvement. I'll stick to HCR2 for now.

Hot phone when playing and consumes a lot more battery than Hill Climb Racing 2 thus taking away most of the casual experience at the cost of making it look "better", it does look nice even on low graphics settings but that still won't stop phone heat up. Gameplay is fun but could just be an extra mode in Hill Climb 2 really. I'm uninstalling due to battery life.

I keep changing my review, the more I play it the more addictive it becomes despite the mass of buttons to press & small vehicles, if only it looked like it's predecessor I'd give it 5 stars! But now I've got to level 76 on all vehicles & can't progress beyond so pointless carrying on. Also recently it stalls when just under 50% loaded so I have to close & reopen.
