Garmin StreetCross is a navigation app specifically designed for motorcycles. This app will only work in combination with the compatible models below.

To see if your YAMAHA motorcycle is compatible with the app, please refer to the owner's manual or the product information page for your model.

The navigation operations can be done via motorcycle handlebar during the ride.

PhotoReal Junction View
It displays the appropriate lane to drive in during an active route.

I've been using this with my Yamaha Nmax Techmax in the Philippines. My thoughts are: Pros: 1. Nearby gas stations can be identified, but not all. 2. Photos will be shown if you need to go left or right on an over/underpass. Cons: 1. No live traffic. The app shows travel time as if there is no traffic, which is inaccurate. Overall: I did not use this all the time. I feel like it could be upgraded more. As of now, I am still using Google Maps or Waze. It's a little bit useless with a motorcycle.

The app works, but the performance and behavior it's average at best. It's a bit slow, the routes sometimes are not the best, speed limits are sometimes wrong, it stays open until manually closed (could stop automatically after some time disconnected to the bike), doesn't backup on the cloud the favorites, you can't disable the navigation voice, and very frequently it somehow loses connection via Bluetooth (or similar) because stops showing you the map in the bike and only indications are shown.

Dear Customer, Please enable Developer Options > ANGLE Preferences and set StreetCross to "angle". This may help the blue map issue. For the route detour issue, does changing Settings > Navigation > Calculation Mode improve your experience? If you're about to buy a Yamaha motorcycle because it has Nav, don't. This app is so much worse than Google Maps, or whatever the iPhone version is that I've used one or twice. Garmin hasn't updated since the 00's, it feels like. the only predictable way to find anything is to get the street address from Google Maps and plug it in. Garmin doesn't recognize any of the Express Lanes in the D.C. area. and it takes up 5+GB of space by itself.
