Vrbo in general is not a great platform, but syncing on the app and between their systems is EVEN WORSE. Messages between myself and a guest keep getting lost every time I exit the app. They will eventually appear later in the day, but not in the moment when I need them. Notifications of messages from renters are SO delayed that I will expect a new message to be there, only to find it was a message I already responded to.

This app always seems to have a glitch. majority of the time, it will kick you out and then will not let you log back in. It's always trying to make you log in through a different browser or the vacationer app instead of letting you in your owner account. We've had to change passwords multiple times on this account, because it it seems to unlink information or something. Frustrating app most of the time.

As a host, the messaging is completely insufficient. I cannot give the quality of customer service that my guests demand using this app. Message notifications can be hours off. The time and date stamp on the messages is never accurate. This application poor programming is negatively effecting my business. Smh. Yet ...you still charge my guests very high fees....for what? I am forced to give the guests my personal phone number ensure they can contact me ... it's been a year and it's still broken
