Serenox is a meditation timer built around a single idea: you should not need to look at your phone during a session. Set your duration, close your eyes, and let the app guide you through calming haptic feedback at the start, midpoint, and end of your practice.
The core of the app is a smooth circular countdown arc that fills and fades as time passes. It is there when you want to glance, and completely out of the way when you do not. No sounds, no notifications, no accounts.
Sessions can range from a few minutes to longer sits. The gentle vibration pattern at the midpoint gives you a quiet checkpoint without breaking focus. The end pulse is distinct enough to land clearly without startling.
Everything runs offline. No data leaves the device. First launch walks you through the two core ideas in the app, and after that it stays out of your way. A PIN lock option keeps your session history private if you share your phone.
The interface uses a dark, layered background with a circular arc as the focal point. Controls are minimal by design — duration, start, and that is largely it.
Serenox does one thing and tries to do it well.
