This app used to work sporadically, but now it doesn't work at all. It doesn't even find the receiver on the network, despite being in network standby mode. Even entering the IP address manually does nothing. They haven't even bothered to update this app in 4 years. Don't waste your time even installing.

It's rare that value-added apps are any good at doing anything other than wasting space in my phone's memory. And you end up using them once or twice because the company requires it to unlock something in your product or some other nonsense. Plus they're usually trying to up-sell the makers other products. Not this app. It's useful on a regular basis, there's no BS and no ads. Thank you, Yamaha.

Update! Latest version won't find my receiver. Sorry Yamaha, your brilliant app is now just wasting space on my phone and my tablet! Original review! Love this app. So much easier than using the remote, don't have to put the light on to change the settings. The one feature I would love is the ability to search music that's on my network! Any chance Yamaha?
