A decent app. The usages is great but the app can use some refinement. Often lagging and slow to fetch information. It is far less usable than the web, like why can I only add images on the web. Same issue with subspecies, only on the web. Adding easy way to mark sexes and pairs should not be a difficult thing to add as well.

WORTHLESS GARBAGE. Downloaded this b/c the Merlin app gets worse every day & now resets itself every few minutes (so can't save lists) so I need to uninstall and reinstall it hoping it will get back to working as well as it did 3 months ago... Ebird does not save lists from Merlin. You download a "pack" from a given area, then select from a checklist - it's just so stupid! STOP SHOVING MORE & MORE AI INTO EVERY CRACK & CREVICE!!!

Can't submit my checklist, it just says that there was an error. I wish I knew what's wrong so I could fix it and submit for the Global Big Day before the deadline, but I have no idea what's wrong, there's no email or phone for assistance. I figured out through google that it was the travelling distance (>100km), I know it's for accuracy reasons, but why have travel option and GPS, if the app can't sync where I entered which bird? It would have been 5 stars but this issue is very frustrating.

What’s new

This build adds the ability to upload sound recordings to checklists in eBird Mobile.
Step 1: Open a checklist in the eBird app
Step 2: Share an audio recording from another app
From Merlin: Go to Sound ID Sessions, view a recording, tap the share icon, then choose eBird from the list of apps
From Files or any app: Open an audio file, tap the share icon, and choose eBird
Step 3: Follow eBird's steps to match the recording to a species, trim the ends, and add details before submitting
