The only actually usable text to speach app. So good job. Mainly the fact that I can upload a bunch of files and then things happen without me having to watch it. There are still a bunch of bugs (failing for some websites, the order being sometimes weird, notifications not dismissable...) and some features for describing formulas and pictures would be useful to, so still ways to go.

Thanks for your thoughtful feedback and for trying the app. We’ve released several improvements that address stability and ordering issues, and we’re continuing to expand support for more complex content like formulas and images. I love this app. I'm a PhD student with ADHD and I have a really hard time focusing on reading; listening helps a lot. It's not perfect, it does randomly spell words out (usually in a title). Occasionally it will pause, usually between paragraphs, but will pick back up in a few seconds. Auto-scroll doesn't always work, and if you pause and try to scroll away while it's on, it'll keep bouncing you back to current location. Pronunciation is 90% correct. Avoids headers, footnotes, authors, etc.

We also appreciate you pointing out the issues with spelling, pauses, auto-scroll, and pronunciation. It does not read properly! It jumps all over the place. Research articles are in columns, so it should be reading all the way down and then up or if it's a short paragraph, across. However, it jumps from left to right and then down and up, but then it goes back down or across. I cannot move the cursor to where I want it to read from, if you're just listening and writing notes it's not good. Instead of reading 28 page articles it's reading 6 or 12 and missing so much information.

Hi Janine Kazmi! We understand how frustrating it is when articles aren’t being read in the correct order or content is being missed. Please reach out to us at support@listening.com so we can take a closer look at the document and investigate what’s causing the issue. We’d be happy to help and work with you on a solution.
