Beautiful game. Loved the layering mechanic of the grid. However, for a game app that took me less than an hour and a half to complete, I feel like the price is not justified, I've paid less in the past for game apps that have lasted far longer. I'll happily retract the statement if it's on the road map for more, and I would mean much more content to be dropped through updates. Otherwise, it's neat, but I wouldn't have bought it if I'd known it was so short.

(Issues with app launching seem to have been fixed as of this review). Gorogoa isn't the most challenging puzzle game out there, but its style, story, and atmosphere are what really sets it apart as a true gem. At no point did sections feel like a grind, and some puzzles did made me stop and think. I wish it could have been a little longer, but the length also feels just right. The silent narrative and delivery are beyond excellent, and gave me chills at times. It is well worth experiencing.

I finished my first playthrough in 2 hours. Usually when i buy a game, i expect it to be at least 40+ hours long, so that i get my money's worth by buying it. However, Gorogoa is a puzzle game on a whole different level. I somehow feel accomplished after finsihing this game in such a short time. The game itself is amazing, with puzzle mechanics that require players to think thoroughly, and there are no punishments or consequences if players chose the wrong options. We can simply try again. 9/10
