I have used at least 5 other smart tech apps and this one is by far the worst! The color selection is off target using the ring to adjust it so you can select green but get orange instead. The scheduling function is also broken. I set it to come on at dusk and turn off at 1AM but the timing seems to adjust 3 hours off per day so now it's turning on at noon and off at 7pm. How can you even mess up a 24 hour clock function?

Account will link with Amazon alexa but the Alexa app can't find the devices. Weirdly, even though the devices aren't listed, they do turn on (red) when I tell Alexa to turn on all my lights..... But that's the only way Alexa can do anything to them, and there's no way to not do it. After messing with them, I can tell Alexa to change the colour. They usually work... But they still don't show up under devices in the Alexa app. This app itself has very few features. Can't make your own program.

The app is really bad but it works. The trick is to turn off your mobile data. You should either be connected to your non 5g WiFi network or to the WiFi hotspot for the bulb but not your data. The first time you connect to the bulb WiFi hotspot, your phone will give you a prompt to confirm that you want to stay connected to the bulb. Say yes and check the 'don't ask me again' (if you get it). App keeps crashing if you connect to your data in the middle of installation. Good luck.
